Two foolhardy Italians, Pasta and Ceci, who in addition are also Carabinieri police force officers, are on the hunt for a financier that through a series of misunderstandings has ended up in a mental institution. Pasta and Ceci then become involved in an increasingly crazier and crazier series of comedic misadventures.
