Movi47 collects only the minimum data needed to operate the site:

  • Anonymous analytics: page views, device type, country, browser, referrer. IP addresses are hashed before storage; we never store raw IPs.
  • Optional account data: if you sign up, we store your email, display name, and watchlist. Accounts are entirely optional.
  • Cookies: a first-party cookie identifies your browser session for watchlist persistence. No third-party tracking cookies.

2. What we don't do

  • We do not sell your data to anyone.
  • We do not run third-party ad networks.
  • We do not require an account to watch.
  • We do not store payment information (we don't take payments).

3. Third-party services

We use the following privacy-respecting services to keep the site running:

  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
  • Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection
  • Supabase — database
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymized traffic analytics
  • The Movie Database (TMDB) — metadata enrichment

4. Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and any associated data at any time. Email us via the contact form. We respond within 30 days.

5. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the home page banner for 14 days.
